‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ continued its strong run at the box office on Day 20. The film, which saw its collections dip on Monday, recorded good growth at the ticket windows on its third Tuesday at the box office.

As per a report on Sacnilk, the Tom Holland-led superhero film recorded an estimated Rs 2.55 crore net collection in India and a gross total collection of Rs 2.98 crore across 3,317 shows on its 20th day.Its total India net collection has now reached approximately Rs 471.70 crore, while its India gross collection stands at Rs 563.92 crore.With this, the Hollywood film is now the second-highest-grossing film of 2026 in India.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ crosses USD 2 billion worldwide

The film has also achieved a major milestone at the global box office, crossing the USD 2 billion mark, with an estimated global haul of USD 2.03 billion. ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has now become the first film in the franchise to cross the coveted milestone.The film has also recorded one of the fastest USD 2 billion runs in box office history, reaching the milestone in just 20 days. This makes it the second-fastest film ever to cross the USD 2 billion mark, behind only ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which achieved the feat in 11 days.Other films like ‘Ne Zha 2’ took 33 days to reach the milestone, while ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ and ‘Avatar’ took 39 and 47 days, respectively.The film’s current worldwide total is estimated at USD 794 million from the domestic market and USD 1.23 billion from international territories.

‘Brand New Day’ eyes ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ record

With its worldwide collection currently estimated at USD 2.03 billion, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is now around USD 20 million away from overtaking ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which finished its theatrical run with approximately USD 2.05 billion.If it crosses that mark, the Tom Holland-starrer would become the second-highest-grossing Marvel film worldwide, behind ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which earned approximately USD 2.80 billion globally.The film has already surpassed the previous worldwide record held by ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ which earned approximately USD 1.92 billion worldwide.
