The makers of the upcoming Telugu family entertainer ‘January 12 Vidudala’ have started a new schedule in Kazakhstan, where lead actors Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram will shoot a big action sequence and a special song. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is set to release in theatres on January 12, 2027, during the Sankranthi festival.
Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram begin shooting in Kazakhstan
The production house shared the update on its official social media handle on Thursday. In the post, the makers wrote, “The action is getting bigger in Kazakhstan. The shoot of #January12Vidudala is in full swing, with Victory @VenkyMama & @Nandamurikalyan shooting a power-packed action sequence and a spectacular song. Just wait for a FULL-ON ENTERTAINMENT FEAST this Sankranthi, arriving in theatres on JANUARY 12, 2027.”Both actors have begun filming the major action episode under the supervision of stunt choreographer Real Satish. Set against the landscapes of Kazakhstan, the sequence is being planned on a large scale, with director Anil Ravipudi overseeing its execution.
Special song choreographed by Sekhar Master
Along with the action portion, the Kazakhstan schedule will also include a special song featuring Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram. The number, choreographed by Sekhar Master, will be shot at scenic locations.
Earlier schedules in Ooty and Mysuru
Before travelling to Kazakhstan, the team wrapped up a schedule in Ooty. The unit had also shot in Mysuru, where all four lead actors, Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty, took part. A song was filmed during that schedule as well.Actor Sriman, who is part of the film, shared his happiness about working in a song choreographed by Brinda Master after almost eight years. He wrote, “Rocking choreography by the legendary dance master BRINDA. It’s been almost eight years since I got a chance to be a part in her choreography Thank you DIRECTOR Anil ravipudigaru @AnilRavipudi.”

The makers recently announced the title ‘January 12 Vidudala’. The film was earlier known by the working titles #VenkyAnil5 and #NKRAR2. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead opposite Venkatesh, while Krithi Shetty is paired with Kalyan Ram.The technical team includes GV Prakash Kumar as music composer, Sameer Reddy as cinematographer, Tammiraju as editor and AS Prakash as production designer. S Krishna is the executive producer.
