The University of Delhi has announced the Spot Round 3 schedule for UG law admissions 2026, covering BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes.

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the schedule for Spot Round 3 admissions to its undergraduate law programmes for the 2026 academic session, opening another opportunity for waitlisted candidates seeking admission to the five-year integrated law courses.The admission schedule, released on July 30, applies to BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes offered by the Faculty of Law. Alongside the timeline, the university has also published the category-wise vacant seat matrix, giving aspirants a clear picture of the remaining seats before the counselling process moves forward.

Spot round 3 only for earlier waitlisted candidates

DU has clarified that Spot Round 3 is not open for fresh registrations. The allocation will be made only from among candidates who had already applied for the earlier spot rounds and remain on the waiting list.Eligible candidates have been advised to check their admission dashboard on August 1, 2026, to see whether they have been allotted a seat. Those receiving an allocation must complete all admission formalities within the prescribed deadline to avoid losing their seats.

Candidates allotted seats in Spot Round 3 must follow the admission timeline below:

Not accepting the assigned seat and payment of the admission fee by the stipulated deadline might lead to the cancellation of the assignment.

The university has stated that additional spot rounds may be conducted if seats remain vacant after the completion of Spot Round 3.
