Mary L Trump, the niece of Donald Trump, weighed in on a letter sent by the US president to Norway’s prime minister, in which the GOP leader linked America’s bid to annex Greenland to his failure to win the Nobel Peace Prize.Posting on X, Mary Trump said: “When I saw this letter, I literally thought, ‘This is too stupid even for him.’ I should have known better.”
Her comment followed reports detailing Trump’s message to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, which has stirred fresh controversy over Greenland, Nato and global security.
