The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET) 2026 today, April 9, 2026. Candidates who want to make changes in their application form must complete the correction process before 11:50 PM today.Candidates can make corrections by visiting the official website at NTA Exams Portal (exams.nta.nic.in).The NTET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 28, 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across different cities in India.
One-time correction facility
NTA has provided this correction facility as a one-time opportunity. After the correction window closes, no further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.Candidates are advised to carefully review all details before submitting the corrected form. Once submitted, the form will be frozen.If any correction affects the application fee, candidates will need to pay the additional fee online using Credit card, Debit card, Net banking. UPI.Extra payment once made will not be refunded.
Fields that cannot be changed
Candidates will not be allowed to change the following details:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Address (Permanent and Present)
- Photograph upload
- Fields where only one detail can be changed
Candidates will be allowed to change any one of the following:
- Candidate name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
- Fields where multiple changes are allowed
Candidates can change the following details:
- Graduation details
- Post graduation details
Candidates can also modify:
- Examination state
- Examination city
- Other editable fields
Candidates are also allowed to make changes in:
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category / PwD (Persons with Disabilities) / PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) (if not verified by Unique Disability ID)
- Signature (image upload)
- Aadhaar-related correction
Candidates who registered with identity proof other than Aadhaar can update:
- Aadhaar details
- Important instructions for candidates
- Corrections can be made only once
- Additional fee may apply for some changes
- After final submission, no further edits will be allowed
- Candidates should carefully check all details before submitting

- Click on NTET 2026 correction link
- Login using application number and password
- Edit required details
- Pay additional fee (if applicable)
- Submit and download confirmation page
