Netflix’s animated hit ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ made history at the 98th Academy Awards after its golden run at the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards. The film, on Thursday, scored a double nomination for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song titled ‘Golden’.

This nomination marks a major milestone as it is also the first film with a Korean-Canadian director Maggie Kang to achieve this level of recognition and the first K-Pop song in history to receive an Oscar nomination.
