Paresh Rawal, the seasoned actor teaming up again with director Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar for ‘Bhooth Bangla’, has put fans at ease by confirming ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is in the works soon. During recent promotions for the horror comedy, he quashed delay rumors and affirmed the much-awaited sequel is happening.

Talking to Moneycontrol: “Don’t listen to anything; Hera Pheri 3 is coming.” I will start shooting for it soon.” Since its reveal last year, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ has been buzzing in the news. Early buzz suggested Paresh had exited the project, but he’s now back on board with the franchise.

He said, “Insecurity kisi ki nahi hai; Akshay (Kumar), itna bada star hone ke baad bhi, insecurity nahi hai. Koi meri peeth mein chura maar dega, aisa kisi ko nahi lagta hai. Araam se kaam hota hai and with honesty. And all the actors under Priyan Ji’s (Priyadarshan) guidance and direction are very generous and charitable towards each other. Legacy of ‘Hera Pheri’
The original ‘Hera Pheri’ released in 2000, starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. Its sequel, ‘Phir Hera Pheri’, arrived in 2006. Directed by Priyadarshan, the third installment is now in production, with the iconic trio returning to their parts.
