Gautam’s Letterboxd profile recently went viral after fans began discussing his ratings of films, including those starring his father. Following the online buzz, he briefly removed the Letterboxd link from his Instagram bio. He has now added the link back, along with a sassy new bio that appears to address the attention surrounding his profile. His description reads, “Welcome to this apparently national news worthy page. I will try to live up to that,” followed by sobbing and V-sign emojis.

Gautam’s Letterboxd ratings gained attention after fans noticed that he does not appear to give Mahesh Babu’s films higher ratings simply because the actor is his father. Among the films he has rated is Trivikram Srinivas’ 2024 release ‘Guntur Kaaram’, which received 2.5 stars from Gautam. Fans also noticed that he has rated some of Nani’s films higher than his father’s movies.His rating of Yash’s ‘Toxic’ created further buzz, with Gautam giving the film just half a star. He also rated Priyanka Chopra’s recent film ‘The Bluff’ 2.5 stars. Priyanka is set to make her Indian cinema comeback alongside Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film ‘Varanasi’.
