On Saturday, a BTS video that went viral online, saw Ricky making his way to Ariana, who was on stage. The singer then bends down on her knees to greet her beau with a kiss, before taking her spot behind the microphone.The intimate moment quickly went viral as it came just days after the singer and actress hinted that she is getting serious with her romance. Grande, during the final concert, changed the “thank u, next” lyric, to sing about her beau. She earned hoots and cheers from the audience when she sang, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / I’m tryna make him my last.”Alvarez was also referenced in Grande’s original 2019 hit “thank u, next” with the line, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”Grande and Alvarez first dated in 2015 and 2016 after meeting while the hunk worked as one of her backup dancers. The couple eventually parted ways. Rumours of a reconciliation began gaining traction in June after Alvarez was spotted supporting Grande during her Eternal Sunshine Tour stop in Austin. The pair were subsequently seen spending time together, including during Grande’s birthday celebrations.By July, the singer appeared to acknowledge their renewed connection during a concert in Brooklyn, changing the lyrics of “thank u, next” to, “Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back.” She later made further changes to the line during the tour.
