The United States continues to maintain a strong military presence across the Middle East despite a tentative agreement between Iran and Donald Trump administration.US Central Command (CENTCOM) has specified that American forces remain active across the region, with deployments in the air, on land and at sea. As part of that presence, the US has stationed A-10 attack aircraft at key locations across the Middle East.In a post on X, CENTCOM said, “Two US air force A-10 attack aircraft fly together over the Middle East during a routine patrol. US forces continue to be present in the skies, on land, and at sea throughout the region.”The confirmation from Trump’s military comes even as diplomatic efforts continue in Switzerland, where negotiations involving key stakeholders are still under way to prevent tensions from flaring up again.The discussions are focused on Iran’s nuclear programme and several unresolved issues under a fragile interim agreement. Among the most critical matters being discussed is the future operational status of the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global energy corridor.After months of military confrontation, signs of de-escalation have begun to emerge. A-10 ‘Warthog’
