Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for July 2026 re-registration. The registration is meant for students enrolled in online distance learning (ODL) and online programmes. The university said the extension applied to all ODL and online programmes, except certificate and semester-based courses. Students can check the full list of available programmes on the official website and apply accordingly.The university has clarified that no physical study material will be provided for online programmes.Eligible students can also apply for government scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal after their admission is confirmed.
IGNOU July 2026 Re-registration: Steps
To re-register, students can follow the blow steps:
- Log in to the IGNOU portal ignou.samarth.edu.in
- Fill in the details
- Select courses, upload documents if required
- Pay the fee
After submission, students should download the confirmation page and receipt for future reference. The last date for re-registration is June 30. Candidates who miss the deadline, can still apply, but will have to pay a late-fee of Rs 200 along with standard charges.
