JKCET 2026 registration deadline extended: Check new date and direct link to apply

JKCET 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has extended the registration deadline for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied for admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programmes can now complete their application by tomorrow through the official website which is jkbopee.gov.in.The board has also clarified that the application fee payment and document upload window will close on the same day. Candidates are advised to complete the entire application process before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.

JKCET 2026 application fee

To complete the application form, candidates will need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 online before the last date.

Eligibility criteria for JKCET 2026

Candidates who meet the following criteria can apply:

  • Must have passed Class 12
  • Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM)
  • Must have secured 45% to 50% aggregate marks

JKCET 2026 exam pattern

The JKCET 2026 examination will include:

  • 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
  • Duration: 3 hours

The entrance test is conducted for admission to BE and BTech courses in government and private engineering colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
