During his acceptance speech, he can be heard saying, “I am sorry, guys; this is a bit overwhelming. I wanted to be an actor ever since I was a little kid. And I am here today sharing the stage with these people (Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Shahid Kapoor); it’s very surreal. Thank you, Adi sir (Aditya Chopra), for believing in me. This is for the team of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’. You guys are really special. Mom, dad, my beautiful sister Ritika, everything I do, I do to make you guys proud. Thank you very much.
