SSC JE, CHSL Tier 2 exam 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released important information regarding the exam city slip, admit card, and scribe facility for Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 Paper II and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 10+2 Tier II examinations.According to the official notice, candidates will be able to check their exam city details and download their admit cards through the SSC website on specific dates which are mentioned below.

Important exam dates

For the Junior Engineer (JE) 2025 (Paper II) exam:

  • Exam date: April 7, 2026
  • Exam city details available from: March 27, 2026
  • Admit card release date: April 4, 2026

For the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 10+2 Tier II exam:

  • Exam date: April 10, 2026
  • Exam city details available from: April 1, 2026
  • Admit card release date: April 7, 2026

Candidates can check their exam city and download their admit cards by logging in through the official SSC website.

Important instructions for candidates

The commission has also shared details about the “own scribe” facility. Candidates who wish to use a scribe must register for it again on the SSC website, even if they had selected this option earlier.This registration is mandatory for all candidates who plan to use a scribe during the exam. Candidates who successfully complete the scribe registration process will receive a separate scribe entry pass, according to the official notice.For candidates appearing in both JE and CHSL exams, they must complete the scribe registration again between April 1 and April 5, 2026, if required.

Candidates are advised to carefully check all details mentioned in their admit cards.
